RAJOURI, Jan 17: Ace of Spades Division organised a Painting and Quiz Competition at Valley View Army Public School (VVAPS) for the students of various schools of Rajouri under Operation Sadbhavana, here today.
Over 400 students from all major schools of the Rajouri participated in the event.
The aim of the Painting Competition was to boost the feeling of National Integration and unity among school children.
The themes given to students in different categories for painting were aptly chosen in view of the upcoming Republic Day namely ‘Beautiful Nature’ for category I, ‘My Colourful India’ for category II and ‘Unity in Diversity’ for category III.
Meanwhile, the students for quiz competition were also grouped in three categories and the questions were based on the educational capability of group.
The children showed their talent and original ideas and enthusiastically participated in both these competitions.
The prize distribution function will be held on Republic Day, wherein General Officer Commanding, Ace of Spades Division will be the chief guest at Valley View Army Public School, Rajouri.
