JAMMU, Mar 28: An orientation programme was conducted in Heritage School Amphitheatre for the new students of Gummy Bears’ World (Kindergarten Wing), here today.
The programme was organized to welcome the tiny tots and give insights to the parents about the curriculum and teaching methodology. The programme commenced with an address by the Kindergarten Coordinator, Kusum Abrol, who briefed the enrichment and co-scholastic activities that promote holistic development of the child which is the main aim of the curriculum that is designed.
The class in-charges informed the parents about rules and regulations, other important points and mode of academic curriculum. This was followed by a formal introduction of the special educator and class teachers.
Principal Heritage School, Akash Pradhan thanked all the esteemed guests for their presence and their active participation in the programme. Later, parents met the class teachers, who addressed their concerns and assured them of the safety and all-round development of their ward.
“Childhood is not a race to see how quickly a child can read, write and count. Childhood is a small window of time to learn and develop at the pace which is right for each individual child,” the School Principal said.
