JAMMU, Apr 22: Outplaying SOS Hermann Gmeiner School by 47 runs in the summit clash, Oriental Higher Scondary School lifted the title trophy in the 1st Jammu District School Sports  and Cultural Activities Federation (SSCAF) Cricket Championship at Green Field ground, Gandhi Nagar here.
Earlier, winning the toss and bating first, Oriental XI scored 85 runs in the stipulated 10 overs, while in reply, SOS  got bundled out for a paltry total of 40 runs to lose the match by a margin of 47 runs.
KC Gurukul School claimed third place by beating Banyan International School in hardliner match.
Ranjeet Kalra, Member BCCI and J&K State Sports Council was the chief guest on the concluding function, who distributed prizes among the winners and runner-up teams on the occasion.
The Championship was earlier inaugurated by Arjun Prasad, District Secretary of the Association.
