JAMMU, Mar 8: Sprawling Buds ICSE School Bantalab organized an open sport climbing competition for college and school girls in collaboration with Mountaineering Association of J&K at Tenzing Norgay Sport Climbing Wall in the school premises, here today.
Shivani Charak, an international medalist in sport climbing was overall in-charge of the competition, whereas Vishali Sharma and Sakshi Magotra were the belayer and judge respectively of the competition.
The results were quite encouraging as fresh climbers displayed lot of enthusiasm, skill and temperament to win the top positions.
In women category, Sukriti Kumari, Swatika Katoch and Kalyani Devi remained 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively, whereas in junior girls category, top three positions were secured by Namrita Rajput, Nandini Dhar and Pragya Sharma.
Arti Sharma, Principal of Apple Kids Bantalab was the chief guest at the prize distribution function who presented gifts to the winners and organisers of the competition.
