Jammu, Dec 17: J&K Taekwondo Association will organize the “Open Jammu Taekwondo Championships (Kyorugi/Poomsae/Para) 2023 – 24 under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI) and J&K Sports Council (JKSC) at Indoor Sports Hall Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu from December 19 to 20.
The Championship is open to all Taekwondo athletes of Jammu Division and they will play their matches on the latest Technology of Point Sensor Scoring System (PSS) which is completely electronic based. The organisers said JKTA Athlete License is mandatory for all athletes to participate in the above-mentioned event. No entries will be accepted without the JKTA License. The purpose of conducting the above-mentioned championships is to connect all the Taekwondo athletes of J&K under one recognized banner. Organisers have asked all players to report to Dogra Brahmin Pratinidhi Sabha, Parade, Jammu on December 18 at 3:00 pm sharp for weigh-in along with Complete Registration forms duly signed by parents also attached date of birth certificate issued by the Concerned Municipality or the Sarpanch of the village.
