NSC Bhimbat lifts Vijay Diwas T20 trophy

JAMMU, July 11: Thee NSC Bhimbat lifted the Champions trophy in the 15-day Twenty20 Cricket Championship held at Kargil Battle School ground as part of the 20th year of Kargil Vijay Diwas celebration under Operation Sadbhawana.
The event was organised by Indian Army in collaboration with the civil administration and Himalayan Sports and Cultural Development Organisation Drass in Kargil with an aim to promote the game of amongst the population and encourage them to exhibit their talent at State and National levels.
In the final, the NSC Bhimbat defeated Eleven Aryans Pandrass by a margin of 24 runs.
Commandar Drass Warriors, Brigadier V Ganapathy was the chief guest, who presented title trophies as also other individual prizes. He appreciated the budding talent of the Drass Sector and encouraged them to try their prowess at State and National levels.
Commander Drass Brigade urged the locals and men in uniform to live up to the underlying them dedicated on 20th anniversary of the Kargil Vijay Diwas to remember the martyrs, rejoice in the gallant victory of 1999 and renew the resolve to safeguard the honour of the tri-colour.
