Jammu, Mar 10: Nighti-ngale Pre-School celebrated its annual day with theme ” Vande Mataram ,A Salute” with pomp and show, here today at GCW auditorium Jammu.
The function started with ganesh vandana and lighting of the ceremonial lamp by chief guest, Retd. Brig Anil Gupta, while Parneesh Mahajan, Chairman NSM Group of School and Colleges was the guests of honour.
Yudhvir Sethi,Vice-President State BJP and M.D of the School also graced the occasion.
The young kids of the school displayed their talent during the day and impressed one and all
Principal of the school, Sonia Jain presented the annual report, while students of UKG and other classes presented different items on various facets of life which included skits, poems, songs, dance items, gags etc which got appreciation from audience.
Some artistic items were also presented by the little kids with great energy and zest enthralling the soul and mind of those gathered to witness the show.
Chief Guest and other guests gave mementos to the students for various achievements throughout the year .
The chief guest Brig. Anil Gupta encouraged the staff with his words.
He asked the teachers to inculcate reading habits among young kids which will go a long way to nurture them for a bright future.
Prominent among those who graced the occasion included Dr.Kiran Bakshi, Shashi Jain, Subash Sethi,Vinod Sharma and Anil Masoom.
The vote of thanks was presented by Chanderkala Shali, Co-ordinator of the School. Kusum Tickoo conducted the proceedings of the programme, while Rahul Handoo choreographed the whole show.
