Nightingale celebrates Annual Day with pomp and show

JAMMU, Mar 9: Nightingale-A Pre School, Channi Himmat and Rehari Chungi celebrated Annual Day at Green Field Park, Channi with pomp and show.
On the occasion, BJP State president Jugal Kishore Sharma was the chief guest, while Nightingale Director and BJP Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Incharge Yudhvir Sethi was the guest of honour.
The small children dressed up in colourful dresses presented a number of plays and sports items. The games included match me the same, hurdles race, dress me up, bouncing with the ball, squeeze spider and many more.
A totally different and newly designed MBBS (Miyaan Biwi Bachchon Sang) Show received wide appreciation as it involved the child, their mother and father to play a particular game.
Jugal Kishore Sharma distributed rosettes among the winning children and while speaking said that these kids are the future of the nation and hence it is very important on part of both teachers and parents to educate them and inculcate patriotic values so that they fulfill the dreams of parents as well as the countrymen.
Yudhvir Sethi said that the education today has taken new dimensions and hence it is the need of the time that the young children are made to enter the learning institutions as soon as they start walking on their own and are in a position to speak.
Priya Sethi, who presented the details of Nightingale’s day to day activities and importance of holding regular parents-teachers meet, said that the staff in both the branches has been treating the small children as growing buds and take every precaution while introducing any new thing among their soft minds.
