NIFF Youth Football League commences at TRC

SRINAGAR, Nov 13: The NIFF Youth Football League-2021 today kick started at Synthetic Turf Football Stadium Ground TRC, here where two matches were played on the first day of the League.
As per the fixture, issued by NIFF the first match was played between J&K Bank Academy and Kupwara FA which was won by Bank Academy by 2 goals to nil. Yawar & Sheikh Salman were the goal scorers for the Bank Academy.
The 2nd match was played between Sports Council Football Academy (SCFA) and Langate Handwara FA that ended at 5-1 score-line in favour of SCFA. The goal scorers for SCFA were Waris, Ubaid & Farhan, whereas the solitary goal for Langate was scored by Faizan. Ubaid Bhat of SCFA was declared as player of the match and received memento and cash award for his brilliant performance.
Maqbool Ahmed, Proprietor New JK Roadways was the chief guest of the event. He was accompanied by several other dignitaries who witnessed and enjoyed both the matches of the day. Chairman NIFF Bashir A Malik along NIFF’s advisor Ab Hamid Banday, former footballer Nazir Andrabi, coach Sajid Dar, coach Hilal Rasool, international footballer Aslam Parvez, coach Manzoor Ahmad, coach Ajaz Ahmad Bhat and other prominent members of NIFF were also present.
The League is being organised by NIFF J&K in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
