UDHAMPUR, July 4: Nidhi Gupta secured first prize, whereas, Suruchika Sharma and Ravi Kant bagged second and third prizes respectively, during poster making contest organised by Drug and Food Control Organization in collaboration with Department of Information at Kalra College of Education, Battal Ballian.
As many as 20 students participated in the contest and expressed their views via poster making on ill effects of drug abuse.
While speaking, Assistant Controller, Munish Gupta apprised that the different programmes to educate common masses about the dreaded effects of drug abuses were being organized in different parts of the district.
Among others present were Chairman Kalra College of education, Aman Kalra, District Information Officer, Dr Jagdish Mehra, Chairman Rotary Club, DN Sharma, officers and officials of Drug Control Organization and Information Department.
