JAMMU, Oct 12: NGR Club registered win and sailed into next stage of the ongoing Senior Division Football League Tournament, being organized by of District Football Association (DFA) Jammu at GGM Science College ground, here today.
In the first match of the day played between NGR Club and Young Sports, the former registered win and secured berth in the next round of the tournament.
The second match of the day played between Vijay Club and Jammu Sports ended in draw.
The first half remains goalless. In the second half, Jammu Sports took the lead in the 50th minute through Raj Gopal Zola. Tanpreet Singh of Vijay Club equalized the scorecard.
The matches were officiated by the Moon Stephen, Dil Bahadur, Rooney, Amardeep Singh, Rajesh Sumbria and Rinku Gill.
Among others present were Chairman RK Kohli, organizing secretary, Narinder Gupta, Varinder Gupta, Amardeep Singh, Krishan Lal, Kundan Lal Gupta, Satpal Singh, Charan Dass, Harbans Lal and Suresh Gupta.
In tomorrow fixture, Param Football Club will take on Churchill Brothers at 2.30 pm whileas Young Heros will lokc horns with Sainik Colony at 3.30 pm.
