SRINAGAR, Dec 8: In the ongoing Mir Iqbal Hussain Inter-School Football Tournament, four matches were played at Polo Ground here today.
In the first match, New Convent School, Gogji Bagh defeated MF Public School Aloochi Bagh via tie breaker by three goals to one (3-1). For the winners, Suhail, Irfan and Aiman were the goal scorers.
In the second match, Green Valley Elahi Bagh defeated MEI Pampore via tie breakers by three goals to two goals. Sajid, Faizan and Moomin scored one goal each for the winning team.
In the third match, Heavens Land Qamarwari defeated Valley Public School Batmaloo by two goals to one goal. Mehran and Danish scored a goal each for the winners.
In the fourth match, Oak Hill defeated Model School Solina by a solitary goal. Basit Shafi scored the all-important goal for the winning team.
