Neck to neck fights among districts for top slot

15th J&K State Wushu Championship

JAMMU, Apr 25: On Day-2 of the ongoing 3-Day 15th J&K State Wushu Championship in Sub-Junior Boys and Girls, Jammu, Srinagar and Samba districts were fighting neck to neck for the top slot of the Championship.
Jammu was having edge in both boys and girls sections, while Srinagar and Samba districts were leaving no stone unturned to dominate each other while vying for the top honours.
Junior boys and Senior boys will fight for the yellow petal tomorrow.
Kuldeep Handoo, during his interaction with the players, said that the Senior boys selection for the Federation Cup will be based on the State Championship.
General Secretary of the Association, Bhavneet witnessed the Junior and Sub-Junior bouts and distributed medals among the winners later-on.
While addressing on the occasion, she lavished praise on the organisers for holding the event in befitting manner.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Ajay Paul Gill, Maqsood Rather, Jabeena Akhter, Mudasir, Yash Pal, Chran singh, Junaid, Rajinder Singh and Surya Bhanu Partap Singh.
The Organising Secretary of the Championship, Kamal Kishore (International Medallist) presented vote of thanks.
