JAMMU, Feb 24: Navyug Play-way School organised annual day with great zeal and enthusiasm in the school premises.
About 150 students from class Nursery, LKG and UKG participated and each one of them presented a spectacular performance.
H S Jamwal , managing director of the institute declared the event open by flagging off a tricycle race. Various types of field events like ball throwing, pick-n-run, banana race, tug of war along with musical chair and basket ball etc added to the excitement and thrill of the event.
The prizes were distributed among the students for their excellent performance in various events of the sports. Among the students who got gold medals in differenct events are Swayam, Abhay, Lavanya, Loyus, Alekh and Swara whereas Samarveer, Ayush, Samridhi, Honey, Ayush, Utkarsh got silver medals and Ridham, Mrinalika, Prikshit Aditi, Samarth and Vanshika got bronze medals.
In tug of war, girls of LKG class defeated girls of UKG whereas boys of UKG outperformed boys of LKG.
Chander Kanta Jamwal, Principal of the school congratulated the winners and appreciated their performance and immense potential. She also laid emphasis on physical activities.
