SAMBA, Oct 20: Defeating Unique Public School Jatwal by 19 and 13 points in boys and girls categories in the summit clashes respectively, Nav Vidya Higher Secondary School Dhalote lifted the title trophies in the 2-day District Kabaddi Championship, organized by District Kabaddi Association Samba at Unique Public School Jatwal, here today.
Earlier, in the boys category, Nav Vidya HSS Unique Public School by 19 points, while in girls category HSS Dhalote trounced Unique Public School Jatwal by 13 points.
The final matches were officiated by Arjun Kumar, Kulvinder Singh and Ankush Khajuria.
Deputy Commissioner Samba, Mubarak Singh was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams on the occasion.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Krishan Singh, president of the Association; Vinod Sharma, general secretary; Narinder Singh, treasurer; Roshan Lal, Chaman Lal, Tarsem Singh, Ram Kumar, Shishu Paul, Ashwani Sharma and Khanna Ji.
