JAMMU, Feb 25: National Public Playway and High School, Jammu celebrated its Annual Sports Meet 2015-16 in its school premises , here today.
Vishno Verma, Principal of the school was the chief guest on the occasion, while Reeta Kaul , Coordinator and Sulekha, Sports In-charge were also present on the occasion.
The programme began with welcome song and dance.
Demonstration of Karate, Yoga and Aerobics was presented by the students, which was followed by different races like Sack race , Spoon race , Pair race and One leg race.
Students actively participated and showcased their multifaceted talents.
The winners were awarded with awards for the year 2015-16.Varchis and Neha were adjudged best sports achievers of the year , while Sumit and Natik were declared as the best sportspersons in races. Pooja and Neha were adjudged as the best sportspersons in junior category.
The winners were felicitated by the chief guest and other dignitaries on the occasion.
Finally, Principal, Vishno Verma honoured the coordinator and Sports In-charge with the mementoes. The programme concluded with National Anthem.
