JAMMU, Jan 6: Harman Cultural and Educational Society organised National Dance Sports Championship at Abhinav Theatre, here.
About 250 children and youngsters from Jammu and Kashmir, Goa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand participated in the Championship.
Balwinder Singh Johal, President, Dance Sports Council of India was the chief guest, while Rajni Kant Thakur, Technical Advisor, Dance Sports Council of India was guest of honour.
The programme started with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp.
Children performed brilliantly and were honoured by chief guest for their mesmerizing performance.
S. Amrinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary, J&K AACL, Jammu was the special guest on the occasion.
Tajinder Singh, president, Harman Cultural and Educational Society, Gurvinder Kour, State Secretary Dance Sports Council of J&K were also present.
Best performers were honoured with medals on the occasion.
