MRSHC prevails over Ajit Club in sub jr hockey

JAMMU, Feb 23: Maharaja Ranjit Singh Hockey Club (MRSHC) defeated Ajit Club, Gole Gujral by five goals to two (5-2) in the ongoing sub junior hockey tournament, being organized by Hockey J&K and sponsored by J&K State Sports Council at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here today.
MRSHC players dominated from the word go and helped their team to get an early lead, scoring goals in 3rd and 18th minute of the game through Ramnik Singh and Ramandeep Singh respectively, followed by 2 fabulous goals by Sanamdeep Singh in 35th minute and 49th minute of the match and a second goal from Ramandeep Singh in 45th minute.
For Ajit Club, Pawandeep Singh and Gagandeep scored 2 goals in 36th and 50 minutes respectively.
The amtches were ofciated by Amarjeet Singh, ,Jagjeet Singh, Manjeet Singh, Joginder Singh, Satbir Singh, Charanjeet Singh and GS Bakshi.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Govt Boys HS Simbal Camp will lock horns with Guru Nanak Nagar Club in the first match, while in another match, MBS Simbal Camp will take on Shaheed Bhagat Singh Hockey Club.
