6th Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sub Jr Hockey Tourney

JAMMU, Apr 16: MRS Club Simbal Camp defeated Shaheed Bhagat Singh Club by five goals to one (5-1) in the inaugural match of the 6th Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sub Junior Hockey Tournament, being organised by Hockey J&K in collaboration with Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, Gulshan Ground, here.
From MRS Club, the first gaol was scored by Kamalpreet in 4th minute of the match, while the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th goals were scored by Daman Preet Singh, Bavneet Singh, Gurleen Singh and Jasvinder Singh in 10th, 26th, 43rd and 47th minutes of the match respectively.
From SBS Club, the lone goal was scored by Kawalpreet Singh in 38th minute of the match.
Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by Rajinder Singh, Secretary General Hockey India.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Dr Taran Singh, Gurdial Singh, Ishant Sharma, Ravinder Singh, Dharminder Singh and GS Bakshi.
The match was officiated by Joginder Singh (Tournament Director), Gurpreet Singh, Sohail Aziz, Vikas Gandotra, Mohd Ishfaq, Jasprit Singh and Karanjit Singh.
