JAMMU, Nov 17: In continuation to District Police Sports Sestival-2017 for under-19 years (boys and girls) under Civic Action Programme (CAP) which is being organized under the overall supervision of SSP Jammu, today two matches of Kho-Kho and 200 meter race were played.
In Girls section, MRLD School registered win in Kho-Kho against the team of Govt. Hr. Secondary School Bahu Fort by 4 points, while in Boys section, Randhir Singh Jamwal of Govt. Higher Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar Jammu, Chander Malhotra of Govt. Hr. Sec. School Gandhi Nagar Jammu and VishalChoudhary of Dogra Higher Sec. School Shastri Nagar, Jammu were declared as 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in 200 meter race.
The trophies and participation certificates were given to the Winner/Runners-up players to boost up their morale.
The events were played in professional manner under the supervision of trained persons in their respective games.
Rajesh Gill, CPO NHRC Jammu being a Nodal Officer of the sport festival gave brief report of today matches. Proceedings of the function were conducted by famous commentator RP Singh.
