MP Legends, Delhi Giants register wins

JAMMU, Sept 24: MP Legends and Delhi Giants registered wins in the ongoing J&K Masters Inter-State Cricket Championship at University Cricket Ground Jammu, today.
In the first match MP Legends defeated Mumbai Masters.
Batting first Mumbai Masters scored 162 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 30 overs with Pandeep scoring 64 runs and Dinesh 19 runs. From the bowling side, Dinesh and Sadiq took 2 wickets each. In reply, MP Legends chased the target in 27.1 overs, wherein Dinesh Sharma scored unbeaten 80 runs and Sanjay Chobey contributed 34 runs. Thus MP legends won the match by 6 wickets. Dinesh Sharma was declared Man of the Match.
In the second match, J&K Seniors scored 221 runs for 8 wickets. Haseeb Ur Rehman made 60 runs and Raj Kumar scored 37 runs. From the bowling side, Vipin Sharma took 3 wickets while Ravi Kant Puri claimed 1 wicket.
In reply, Delhi Giants scored 167 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 21 overs with Gourav 58 runs, and Dheeraj made 24 runs. After the completion of 21 overs the batsmen of Delhi Giants appealed for bad light which was accepted by the Umpires and the match was stopped due to the bad light. Thereafter the technical committee declared Delhi Giants as winners on the basis of batting average.
