Motor Rally ‘Our Army Our Pride’ from today

JAMMU, July 17: To express solidarity with the soldiers deployed on borders in most hostile and harsh conditions, ‘Fahad Mir Foundation’ in Association with ‘Care Nature and Environment’ is going to organize a Motor Rally ‘Our Army Our Pride’ from Jammu to Drass (Kargil) tomorrow.
This was stated by chairperson of the NGO (FMF), Ruchi Chouhan Khan while addressing media persons along with the office bearers of J&K Motor Sports Association, here today.
The brainchild of Fahad Mir Foundation in collaboration with ‘Care Nature and Environment’ an NGO endeavor aims to eulogize the Army’s comprehensible role in ensuring security of the nation despite facing hostile and harsh conditions.
While outlining the details of the program, Mrs Khan said that the first of its kind Motor/ Bike rally from Jammu to Kargil will be organized, the flagging off ceremony of which will be held from Jammu University to Balidaan Stambh.
While the function is expected to be attended by large number of people to show solidarity with our brave Army personnel, renowned celebrities from Bollywood, Randeep Hooda and music director/ singer Kailash Kher have been roped in to be part of grand event, she revealed.
“I feel this is the only way we can praise the heroism of our braves and reciprocate their devout patriotism which is unparalleled,” added Ruchi.
She further disclosed that Bollywood singers Tanya Mahajan and Sonali Dogra will also perform at the opening ceremony of the event Rally.
Prominent citizens and professionals from all walks of life have come on board to express gratitude to the Army and be part of the huge thanks giving event, besides creating awareness in the society against menace of drugs, she revealed.
