JAMMU, June 2: MLA Marh Surinder Kumar inaugurated the Dixon Ball T-20 Cricket Tournament at Shahzadpur Kothi village in the Marh Assembly constituency. The tournament, aimed at promoting sports and youth engagement, witnessed enthusiastic participation from young cricket lovers of the region.
The event was organized by Joginder Sangam (Chairman, JKUT Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena/ Bhaichara Committee), along with Parshotam Singh, Punu Ram, Sunny Kanth, Ankush and other dedicated youth volunteers.
In his address, MLA Surinder Kumar emphasized the importance of sports in shaping character, building discipline, and encouraging healthy lifestyles. He appreciated the organizers for their initiative and urged the youth to stay committed to sports as a positive outlet. He also highlighted the crucial role of parents in motivating children to participate in games and physical activities, helping them develop confidence, focus and life skills.
