MHAC School Nagbani celebrates annual day

JAMMU, Jan 25: MHAC School, Nagbani today celebrated its annual day with great fervor and enthusiasm.
JP Shoor, Director, Public Schools, DAV College Managing Committee (CMC), New Delhi, was the chief guest while Karan Khanna, secretary, DAV CMC, New Delhi, Mahesh Chopra, chairman, LMC and treasurer, DAV CMC, Member of LMC and a large number of parents and students were present.
The programme started by garlanding of Maharaja Hari Singh’s statue. The day also marked the laying of the foundation stone of new building and inauguration of conference hall which has been named after Capt Dewan Singh.
The audience was enthralled to watch the well directed dance drama based on the theme “Insaan Hain Hum”.
The programme with ‘Lavni’ and ‘Rajasthani Dance’ had some mind blowing performances by the students. The item presented by tiny tots – ‘Maa’, stole the show. Kathak and Martial Arts received huge applause by the audience.
Principal, Alok Betab, read the school report. The students with academic excellence were given away prizes by the chief guest. Mahesh Chopra and Karan Khanna from Delhi, DAV HQ’s, blessed the children for their remarkable achievements.
The programme concluded with National Anthem.
