JAMMU, Jan 4: Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy (MGCA) defeated Singh Cricket Club by a big margin of 59 runs in the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Cup at KC School ground, here.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, MGCA scored 128 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Sarthak top scored with 31 runs, while Subhrat contributed valuable 27 runs to the total.
From Singh Cricket Club, Manik and Sumit shared two wickets each, while Bunny claimed 1 wicket.
In reply, Singh Cricket Club collapsed at 70 runs and lose the match by 59 runs. Sunil contributed 22 runs to the total, while no other batsman could cross the double figure mark. Sumit scored 9 runs. From MGCA, Ajay took 5 wickets, while Pradeep claimed 3 wickets. Ajay of MGCA was declared as man of the match for his brilliant bowling display.
