JAMMU, Apr 2: Mechanical Engineering team crushed Civil Engineering team in the final match and lifted the title of Yogananda Premier League (YPL), a week long cricket tournament organized by Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET).
Hanni Khajuria of VI Semester, Civil Engineering was declared as man of the match, for his outstanding performance.
Four Teams representing different departments of YCET–Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering participated in the competitive event
Er Vidhi S Singh, Chairman, JGEI, was the chief guest and Er Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, JGEI was the guest of honour.
The event was organized by Sports Club Golden Gladiators of YCET under the guidance of Er Loveneesh Talwar, Sports Incharge.
Later, prizes were given away to the winners.
Dr Seema Narain, Director, YCET presented vote of thanks.
Er Bodh Raj Verma, Chief Coordinator, RS Dalpatia, Deputy Registrar, AK Kaul, TPO and senior faculty members Er Rajnish Magotra, Er Rhea Mahajan, Er Dinesh Gupta, Er Robin Kumar, Er Neeraj Pandita and Dr Sumit Sanotra were also present on the occasion.
