MCC wins Mendhar Cup T20 title

MENDHAR, Apr 29: Outplaying Banola Cricket Club by a narrow margin of 15 runs in the summit clash, Mendhar Cricket Club (MCC) lifted the title trophy of Mendhar Cup T20 Cricket Tournament at OP Hill Stadium, here today.
Batting first, MCC scored a decent total of 150 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
In reply, Banola Cricket Club managed to score 135 runs in 19.3 overs, thus lost the match by 15 runs. Advocate Mansoor Khan was adjudged man of the match, while Kamran was declared man of the tournament and was awarded a cash prize of Rs 500 along with a trophy. The winners were presented a cash prize of Rs 10,000, while the runners-up team received Rs 5,000 as a cash prize.
MS Nazki, president Press Council of Mendhar was the chief guest on the occasion, while senior cricketer, Nazim Ali Manhas was the guest of honour.
The Tournament was held under the supervision of Asif Khan, Yasir Khan and Nasir Khan, while it was sponsored by National Social Development Organization, Press Council of Mendhar, Iqra Sports Centre and Iqbal Enterprises.
