MBS Simbal Camp, Bandhu Rakh register wins in GNN Hockey League

JAMMU, June 6: MBS Hockey Club Simbal Camp and Bandhu Rakh Hockey Club registered victories in their respective matches of the GNN Jammu Hockey League (U-19) 2026, being organised by GNN Hockey Club under the aegis of Hockey Jammu & Kashmir.
In the first match, MBS Hockey Club Simbal Camp outclassed Shaheed Bhagat Singh Club by 9-2 in a one-sided contest. Displaying impressive attacking skills and teamwork, MBS dominated the proceedings from the outset. Prabhjot Singh was adjudged Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
In the second match, Bandhu Rakh Hockey Club edged past Poonch XI by 3-2 in a closely contested encounter. Both teams exhibited remarkable determination and skill, keeping spectators engaged throughout the match. Gurpreet Singh was declared Man of the Match for his crucial contribution to Bandhu Rakh’s victory.
SSP Randhir Singh, SO to the IG Railway, attended the second match as the chief guest. He appreciated the efforts of the organisers in promoting hockey at the grassroots level and encouraged young players to strive for excellence in the sport.
