MBS lifts Late Naini Singh 1st Memorial Hockey Cup

JAMMU, Nov 11: MBS Simbal Camp lifted the title trophy of the Late Naini Singh 1st Memorial Hockey Cup, organized by Bhargav Sports Club at Bhargav Public High School Gadigarh.
In the summit clash, MBS Simbal Camp outclassed Young Khalsa Club by 8-3 goals and clinched the title trophy. For MBS, Sukhpreet Singh netted 5 goals, while Gurbaksh Singh and Tanvinder scored 2 and 1 goals respectively. For Young Khalsa, Harjot netted 3 goals.
On the valedictory function, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Ex-Joint Secretary, J&K State Sports Council was the chief guest, while SHO Satwari Inspector Manjeet Singh (father of Late Naini Singh), Gurmeet Singh, CE PDD, Dr Tarun Singh, Superintendent Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu, BJP spokesman Ashok Khajuria, Sanjogita from Police Department, Manjeet Singh Secretary Korf Ball Association, Vikas Sharma, Principal Bhargav Public School, Jasbir Singh, Chairman, Unique Public School Gadigarh and Ishant Sharma were also present.
In the championship, Bhagrav Sports Club, Dashmesh Club, AKS Digiana, Champion Club, Young Khalsa Club, Bandu Rakh Club, MBS Simbal Camp and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Club participated.
The match was officiated by Robin Singh, Tanvinder Singh, Angat Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Jasvinder Singh, Ranbir Singh and Babneet Singh.
