JAMMU, Oct 25: MBS College defeated GDC Bishnah by 64 runs in the ongoing Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament, being organized under the overall supervision of Prof Avtar Singh Jasrotia, Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu, here.
Batting first, MBS College scored 157 runs in 17 overs. Akash, Virtual, Akarsh and Amarjeet scored 29, 28, 21 and 16 runs to the total respectively. For GDC Bishnah, Gurdeep took 2 wickets, while Sanjeev, Dimple and Akshay claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, GDC Bishnah managed to score 93 runs in the allotted 17 overs, thus lost the match by 64 runs. Kushal, Kanav and Ashwani contributed 23, 21 and 17 runs to the total respectively. Zaid and Balneet took 2 wickets each for MBS College, while Tamim and Akash claimed one wicket each.
