Selection Matches for Physically Challenged Cricketers

JAMMU, Apr 22: Martyr Ramesh Yadav Eleven defeated Martyr Naseer Ahmed XI in the ongoing selection matches of Physically Challenged Cricketers at GGM Science College Cricket Ground, here today.
The selection matches for the Physically Challenged Cricketers for picking the Indian team for participation in the world Cup is jointly being organized by J&K Physically Challenged Cricket Association and J&K Cricket Association.
In today’s match Satish Gupta Director of J&K PCCA was the chief guest who was introduced with the participating players of both the teams on the occasion.
The event is being conducted under the chairmanship of Syed AH Bukhari, CEO JKCA, while Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, Member JKCA is the Co-Chairman of the event.
Earlier, Martyr Raj Tilak Eleven defeated Martyr Naseer Ahmad Eleven by 7 wickets. Batting first, Martyr Naseer Ahmad Eleven scored 108 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Kamal scored 22 runs, Gurmeet contributed 21 and Rovesh made 18 runs. From the bowling side, Yashpal and Mohit took 3 wickets each while Sandeep, Sanjay and Mani claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, Martyr Raj Tilak Eleven chased the target in 17.2 overs by losing 3 wickets, thus won the match by 7 wickets. From batting side, Satya Paul top scored with 41 runs, while Soni Sota and Sanjay Pal contributed 22 and 15 runs respectively. From bowling side, Rovesh, Nagesh and Nadeem claimed 1 wicket each.
