KATRA, Apr 22: J&K Wrestler Ajay and Delhi Wrestler Bhalla emerged joint winners of the45th Muttal Dangal title, today.
The first malli main bout was fought between Wrestler Ajay Sharma of Landon Power House Udhampur and Wrestler Bhalla of Delhi. This bout ended in draw that lasted for 27 minutes. Both the wrestlers were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 25,000 by Ambrish Magotra, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Chanay Ram, Sarpanch Makhan Lal and Naib Sarpanch Sukhdev Singh.
Dangal was organized by Muttal Dangal Committee in association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association.
In all, 47 bouts were played in the one day long danga.
The winner of 2nd malli bout Wrestler Suresh of Pathankot was awarded with cash prize of Rs. 9,000, while the runners-up Wrestler Babba of Domana Akhara was given Rs. 6,000. 3rd malli bout was won by yudhbir of Delhi who defeated Muneer of Nagrota. 4th bout was won by Kaka of R.S Pura who defeated Dillar Khan of J&K Police. 5th bout was won by Amir Khan of Nargada who defeated Kala of Himachal Pradesh.
