JAMMU, Jan 22: Defeating GDC Paloura convincingly in the summit clash, MAM College lifted the title trophy of the Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi Champio-nship, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, here.
MAM College won the match by 21 points (34-18).
Earlier, in the first semifinal, GDC Paloura defeated GDC Kathua by 4 points (36-32), while in another semifinal, MAM College got better of GDC Mendhar by 20 points (42-22).
Prof Dhian S Bhau, Director Sports and Physical Education, was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed prizes amon the winners and runners-up team.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Prof MS Saini, Naryani Jamwal, Balbir Chib , Dr Brij Baloria, Romesh Sharma, Ravish Vaid, Vikas Karlopia, Amit Sharma, Jaswant and Rakesh Verma. The Tournament In-charge was Gagan Kumar.
The matches were officiated by Ankush Chib, Amandeep Singh, Raki Sharma, Rakesh Kumar and Gagan Kumar.
