Magnum XI outplays YBCC, enter into next stage

JAMMU, July 4: Magnum XI Cricket Club outplayed Young Blood Cricket Club (YBCC) by a margin of 9 runs in a keenly contested match and entered into next stage of the ongoing Ist Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh Gold Cup T-20 Cricket Tournament, being played at Cantt Ground, Satwari.
Batting first, Magnum XI scored 120 for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Yasir was top scorer with 35 runs, whereas Bunty made 25 runs.
From YBCC side, Gagan, Anmol and Kalu took 2 wickets each, whileas Rajan scalped one wicket.
In reply, YBCC failed to chase the target and bundled out at 111 runs.  Gagan made 23 runs and Kawal scored 18 runs.
For Magnum XI side, Sohail was the wrecker-in-chief with 3 wickets, whileas Kunal, Bunty and Pardeep scalped 2 wickets each.
Bunty of Magnum XI was declared as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Manu and Surpreet Singh as umpires, whileas Aman Cheema maintained the scorecard.
The tournament is being organised by Youth National Conference Gandhi Nagar.
