JAMMU, Mar 7: Little Millennium, a leading pre-school chain today celebrated Annual Day for its centres at Roop Nagar, Gandhi Nagar and Trikuta Nagar on the theme, ‘Sanskar-Core Values of Little Millennium” here at Teacher Bhawan, Gandhi Nagar.
Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ), Anuradha Gupta was the chief guest in the function which was attended by Rajeshwar Singh, AIG J&K Police as guest of honour, PK Sharma, chairman of the school, parents of little angels and prominent citizens.
DSEJ, Gupta appreciated the innovative thematic presentations of the school children and congratulated the management for selecting inculcating ‘Sanskars’ of habits in the children at such an early age to develop them as Global citizen.
AIG, Rajeshwar Singh in his address appreciated the strength of the curriculum devised for little angels by the Little Millennium team which ensured smooth transition of a child from informal homely environment of a pre-school to a formal learning environment.
Earlier, the Chief Learning Officer, Akhila Magotra in her welcome address said, “Science has proven that children were shaped by heredity and environment. Children as great imitators imitate all actions and responses. Hence, it becomes very vital that their environment be enriched with the right kind of stimulus.”
Later, she also gave a brief presentation of the activities of schools at Roop Nagar, Gandhi Nagar and Trikuta Nagar.
The eventful day ended with the prize distribution function by DSEJ and AIG.
