Lalit elected as District Ju-Jitsu Asso prez

JAMMU, July 30: Chartered Accountant, Lalit Kumar Gupta has been elected as president of District Jammu Ju-Jitsu Association during the general body meeting held at Amar Singh Club, here today.
Lalit’s name was proposed by Deepak Handa and supported by Tarsem Sharma, Shuhul Bhat, Navneet Gupta and Kapil Mahajan.
Later, it was resolved in the meeting that the District Jammu Ju-Jitsu Championship will be organised in the month of September and special coaching camps shall be organised soon for the upliftment of Ju-Jitsu sport in Jammu. The members also suggested holding workshops at school level so as to introduce this sport at the grass root level.
Other members including Harsh Vardhan Raina, Deepak Dogra, Danish Sharma, Adv Ranjodh Singh and Shuhul Bhat were present during the meeting. The vote of thanks was presented by general secretary of the Association, Tarsem Sharma.
