Ladakh wins 2 Gold among 6 medals at Qwankido C’ship

LEH, Nov 30: In 4th National Qwankido Championship 2022 organised by Qwankido Federation of India in New Delhi, Ladakh brought 6 medals.
Ladakh Qwankido Association has sent 4 Boy and 5 Girls to participate in the event where a total of 700 athletes from 25 States participated and it was the first participation of a team from Ladakh in the event.
For Ladakh Shanaz Parveen and Kaneez Fatima won Gold; Mannat Fatima, Silver and Mehak Fatima, Mumtaz Ali and Mohd Said Khan won Bronze.
President Qwankido Ladakh, Shah Nawaz Habib Var said it was the first team of Qwankido Ladakh which represented in an official event and came out victorious.
Kaneez Fatima, who won gold, said it was a wonderful occasion for them because they had put in a lot of efforts for the competition and winning medals has showed that they have the capability to compete with the world.
