KISHTWAR, Aug 1: Kendriya Vidyalaya DPS Kishtwar celebrated its Annual Day with zeal and zest in the school premises, here today.
Chairman of the Managing Committee of the Vidyalaya, Yoginder Kotha, General Manager NHPC Dul Hasti Power Station was the chief guest on the occasion, while the nominee Chairman, Suresh Kumar was the guest of honour.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries, which was followed by the the welcome address presented by Kewal Singh, Principal of KV DPS Kishtwar.
The cultural programme began with Saraswati Vandana, followed by a variety of dancing and singing items by the students. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the efforts of the Principal, staff and the students for successful conduct of the function.
The programme concluded with the presentation of vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
