JAMMU, July 27: 48th Regional Sports Meet in the disciplines of Kabaddi, Skating, Athletics, Badminton, Shooting, Lawn Tennis, Swimming and Rope Skipping Under14, 17 and Under-19 boys of KVS Jammu Region concluded at KV No-1 Jammu, here.
In the Prize Distribution Function at the Auditorium of the Vidyalaya, TR Choudhary, Principal, KV No.1, Jammu was the chief guest, who gave away the medals to the winners.
The winners were cheered by the teams and the staff on this occasion. The list of selected players for the KVS Nationals was also declared in the function.
173 students and escorts drawn from Kendriya Vidyalayas situated in J&K, parts of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab participated in this Sports Meet.
In Kabaddi Under-19 boys, KV No-1 Jammu bagged the first place, while KV Samba stood second and KV Bikhiwind claimed the third position, while in Kabaddi Under-14 boys, KV No-1 emerged winner, while KV Nagrota and KV Bantalab clinched second and third spots respectively.
