JAMMU, May 2; Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Miran Sahib celebrated its Annual Day with great fervour at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, here today.
AVLJ Rao, Deputy Commissioner, KVS Regional Office, Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion.
Principal KV Miran Sahib, Sushma Jain in her welcome address presented the annual report and highlighted the achievements of the School.
Earlier, the function was inaugurated by the chief guest by lighting the ceremonial lamp, which was followed by saraswati vandana and a colourful cultural programme by presented by the students. The cultural programme included Dogri folk dance, Animal dance, Hindi skit, Action song, Nritya Natika, Rajasthani dance, Patriotic dance and Gidda-Bangra.
The chief guest and other dignitaries distributed prizes among the students who excelled in various activities on the occasion.
