SAMBA, Aug 24: To elect the Students Council, Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Central University of Jammu, Rahya Suchani, Samba organized its 1st Investiture Ceremony, here today.
Chairman nominee, Dr JS Baliya was the chief guest on the occasion, while In-charge Principal, Mohan Lal Sadhotra presented welcome address.
After the programme started with the introduction of the Students Council, the chief guest threw light on the role and responsibilities of the Council for the welfare of the School.
He advised the students to adopt the path of great men like Shivaji, Tagore, Ashoka and Raman etc for better future.
He also wore batches to the elected students of the Council and also distributed sweets among them.
