JAMMU, Dec 2: Kendriya Vidyalaya Bantalab celebrated its Annual Day cum Prize Distribution Function with pomp and show, here today.
Rajeev Rai,DIG CRPF Bantalab was the chief guest and Sirimala Sambanna,DC KVS RO Jammu was the guest of honour on the occasion.
The programme started with the lighting of lamp and invocation to Goddess Saraswati by the chief guests and other dignitaries.
V Santhosh Kumar,Principal of the Vidyalaya welcomed the chief guest, guest of honour and all other guests to the function and presented the annual report depicting various achievements of the Vidyalaya.
This was followed by a cultural bonanza including Dogri, Kashmiri, Punjabi, Assamese dance forms which spell bound everyone including a beautiful play conveying a message of work culture in different departments.
Over 300 participants from primary, secondary and senior secondary wings for put up brilliant show in academic as well as non-academic wings.
Rajeev Rai in his address congratulated the Vidyalaya parivaar for putting up their brilliant efforts and making the show most adorable.
The vote of thanks was presented by Romi Amrit, Vice-Principal of the Vidyalaya.
