JAMMU, Apr 29: The Inter-District UT Level U-17 Boys Football Tournament, “The League of Classics,” continued at Khel Gaon Nagrota with high-energy matches and active participation from teams across the Union Territory.
In the quarterfinal, District Jammu defeated District Poonch by 3-0 goals to advance in the competition. The semifinal matches witnessed strong performances, with District Bandipora beating District Srinagar by 4-1 goals, while District Kupwara secured a convincing 3-0 victory over District Jammu to book their place in the final. Malik Daniyal is currently the top scorer of the tournament.
The final match will now be played between District Kupwara and District Bandipora tomorrow.
Around 300 players from different districts are participating. The technical committee, led by Rohit Gupta, along with members Taranpal Singh, Varinder Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Naveen Singh, Devinder Singh and Somander Singh, is ensuring smooth conduct of the tournament.
