JAMMU, Dec 26: KS Public School celebrated 19th Annual Day with pomp and show at Abhinav Theatre, here today.
Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation, Chander Mohan Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion, while Suraj Prakash Padha, Corporator Jammu was the guest of honour.
The chief guest and other dignitaries were welcomed with bouquets by the chairperson Ramesh Sharma, Sudesh Sharma, Kaushal Sharma and Mukta Sharma.
School Principal, Seema Malhotra presented welcome address and read the Annual Report of the school.
The programme began with Sarswati Vandana followed by a variety of colourful cultural items which enthralled the audience.
Prizes were distributed among the meritorious students by the chief guest and other dignitaries. These students also included the position holders Sania Mehra, Anuradha, Aradhana Sharma, besides Dhruv Sharma.
Speaking on the occasion, the achief guest and the guest of honour lauded the efforts of the school for holding the programme in a befitting manner.
Finally, Chairperson of the School presented vote of thanks.
