JAMMU, Dec 18: The J&K Kick boxing team today left for participation in the WAKO India Cadets and Juniors National Kickboxing Championship-2021 which is scheduled to be held at Pune (Maharashtra) from December 21 to 25.
The team was flagged off by Sports Officer Jammu, J&K Sports Council (JKSC) from here today. The event is being organized by Armature Sports Kick Boxing Association of Maharashtra under the aegis of WAKO India Kickboxing Federation.
Before leaving for the National championship, the selected team also underwent screening conducted by the J&K Sports Council team, headed by Ashok Singh, JKSC and Manager, Satish Gupta at MA Stadium, here.
The Team: Ahmad Faraz, Sheikh Usman, Mohammad Mohtashim Wani, Amaan Showkat, Syed Mohammad Nazim, Umar Ali Sofi, Mohammad Hazim Rather, Fazil Ahmad Wani, Saniya Shabir Bhat, Najh-Ul-Nissa, Tahira Inayat, Fiza Farooq, Owais Bilal Wani, Zainab Mushtaq, Ubair Bin Nazir, Janvi Jamwal, Mehak Jamwal, Agriya Sharma, Arun Mehra, Nitish Singh, Danish Sharma, Monish Singhagal, Shivansh Sharma, Rahul Bagal, Rajveer Singh, Atul, Abhimanou Sharma, Manik Kumar and Syed Ali, while Fasil Ali and Irfan Choundhary will accompany the team as coaches.
