JAMMU, Nov 3: KC Public School emerged winners in Under-14 and Under-16 boys category in the ongoing Sportathon Cup 2016.
In U 14 Boys 1st match was Played between KC Public School and KC International where KC Public School won the match by a margin of 3-1 and Delhi Public School get a walkover against Heritage Public School. In the Finals Divyansh of KCPS beat Manik of DPS by a margin of 11-8,11-5.In second match Karmanay of KCPS beat Paryansh of DPS by a margin of 11-8,9-11,11-8. In the third match Dhananjay of KCPS beat Sahil of DPS by a margin of 11-5,11-8.
In U 16 Category KCPS stood First, DPS stood Second and K C International stood Third.
On the other hand in U 16 Ist Match was played between Heritage Public and DPS where DPS won by a margin of 3-1. The Second Match was played between KC Public and KC International where KCPS won by a margin of 3-0.In third Match JK Public beat St. Xavier by a margin of 3-0.In the Finals Ritvik of KCPS beat Jeevansh of DPS by a margin of 11-8,11-6.In second match Hanumant of KCPS beat Sanchit of DPS by a margin of 11-5,11-6. In the third match Ashank of KCPS beat Viplav of DPS by a margin of 11-8,11-3.
The First Indoor Cricket Match was played between Heritage Public and K C Public School. Both the teams played the match with great zeal.
Heritage Public won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first Heritage put up a score of 27 runs in 10 overs. Tushar and Virendra made 6 runs each . From bowling side Sparsh, Abhay and Praful took 3 wickets each.
In reply, K C Public find easy to chase the target in just 8.4 overs and won the match with 2 Wickets in hand. Sparsh and Aryan made 9 and 7 runs each for their side. From bowling side Gurdeep and Shivaay took 2 wickets each.
The Second Indoor Match was played between C Sports Club and Delhi Public School. K C Sports won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first KCSC put up a score of 25 runs in 10 overs. Savirya and Uttkarsh made 4 runs each . From bowling side adiveer and Hasnain took 2 wickets each.
In reply, DPS find easy to chase the target in just 7.3 overs and won the match with 3 Wickets in hand.Adiveer and Hasnain made 9 and 7 runs each for their side. From bowling side Mohd. Hanzala and Divyansh took 2 wickets each.
In the Outdoor Match DPS won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first MGCA put up a score of 112 runs in 15 over’s. Samad was the high scorer with 54 runs whereras Aryan and Snoop made 26 and 27 runs respectively. From bowling side Aryan and Satyavart took 2 wickets each.
In reply, DPS find hard to chase the target and was all out on a paltry score of 80. Harsimar and Anmol made 18 and 11 runs respectively for their side. From bowling side Shivam and Vikram took 2 wickets each. MGCA won the match by 32 runs.
