JAMMU, Oct 25: KCIS hosted Vinay Mahajan Memorial Junior Soccer Challenge, here.
Six schools namely GD Goenka Public School, KC Public School, RM Public School, Jodhamal Public School and hosts KC International School participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The tournament’s aim was to use sports to foster friendship among the youth of the city.
All the teams competed well and displayed their outstanding performances.
Satpal Singh Kala, Head Coach of Real Kashmir Football Club was the chief guest on the occasion, while Vice Chairman Chaitanya Chowdhary, Administrator, Col (Retd) SK Singh, Headmistress Poonam Bhagat were present on the occasion.
The chief guest appreciated the efforts of the school in organizing such events which provide opportunities for young players to develop skills.
The matches were played under Pool A and Pool B categories wherein Jodhamal Public School sealed berth in the finals and defeated their rivals to emerge winners.
Activity coordinator, Rajni Malhotra presented the vote of thanks.
