KCCC thrashes RCC by 8 wkts in 2nd Holi Cup

JAMMU, May 5: Kishan Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) defeated RCC Jammu by 8 wickets in the ongoing 2nd Holi Cup T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized under the supervision Sachin  Singh, Mukesh Sharma and Sunil Kumar, under the chairmanship of Ankush Abrol at Mandal Cricket ground, here.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, RCC Jammu scored 128 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 6 wickets in the process.
Prince was the top scorer with 62 runs off 67 balls, while Chotu and Ravi contributed 17 runs each. Skipper Manik Gupta was the MOST successful bowler for KCCC, who scalped 3 important wickets by conceding 41 runs in his 4 overs, while Bnadeep Singh claimed one wicket.
In reply, KCCC chased the target in 15.2 overs by losing 2 wickets, thus won the match by 8 wickets. Vimarsh Kaw top scored with 66 off 37 balls, while Manik Gupta and Jagteshwar Singh Singh contributed 34 and 25 runs to the total respectively. For RCC, Bodh and Aksha claimed one wicket each. Manik Gupta was adjudged as man of the match for his all-round show.
The match was officiated by Virender Singh and Babloo as umpires, while Raj Kumar was the scorer and Sohan Bharti was the commentator.
