JAMMU, Sept 25: Maintaining its supremacy, KC Public School swept maximum medals in the Jammu District Inter-School competitions in the boys section, which concluded at Swimming Pool of KC Public School, here today.
The competition was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the supervision of Tirath Ram District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu.
Over 150 budding swimmers drawn from various institutions participated in the event.
Meanwhile, in Under-14 boys 200 Breast Stroke, Aditya Gupta of KC Public claimed gold, while Dhruv Kohli of the same school bagged silver.
In Under-14 boys 200 meter Back Stroke, Praful Singh of KV Number 1claimed gold, while in 4×50 meter Free Style Relay, KC Public bagged gold, KC International won silver and JK public clinched bronze and in 4×50 meter Free Style Medley relay, KC public won gold and JK Public claimed silver.
Meanwhile, in Swimming Under-17 boys, Rohan Mahajan of KC International bagged gold in 50 meter Back Stroke, while the silver went to Vishesh Jamwal of Jodhamal School.
In Under-17 boys 200 meter medley, Neerav Gupta of KC Public School claimed gold, while Abhishek of the same school bagged silver and Anirudh of KC International clinched bronze. In 100 meter Butter Fly, Kanwar Sethi claimed gold, while Abhishek of KC Public School bagged silver.
In Under-19 boys 100 meter Back Stroke, Arnav Kamal of APS Kaluchack bagged gold, Ashiv Choudhary of KC Public claimed silver and Aditya Nanda of KC won bronze.
Kinshuk Safaya of KC Public claimed gold in 100 meter Butterfly, while 200 meter Back Stroke gold went to Arnav Kamal of APS Kaluchack, silver to Ashiv Choudhary of KC Public and bronze to Aditya Nanda of KC.
The 200 meter Individual Medley gold went to Banupratap Singh of Raina HS, while Aditya Nanda of KC Public claimed gold in 200 meter Breast Stroke.
In 100 meter Breast Stroke, Arnav Kamal of APS Kaluchack claimed gold, while in 50 meter Breast Stroke Harikirat Singh and Sambhav Koul bagged gold and silver medals respectively.
