JAMMU, Nov 24: Junior Wing of KCPS celebrated the’Nimble Feet Fitness Fest 2019′ today on its sports arena. It was a fanfare of colourful costumes, exuberant performances and display of coordination, aesthetics and meticulous organization.
Babila Rakwal, Director, Handlooms Development Department, Government of J&K was the chief guest on the occasion. The dignitaries who graced the occasion were school patron, Kanta Mahajan, Chairman Raju Chowdhary, Managing Director, Arti Chowdhary and vice chairman Arjun Chowdhary.
The Head Boy Kritin Jain and Head Girl Subhagi extended a warm and cordial welcome to the chief guest, dignitaries and invited parents. The Head Boy also read out the school report. Speaking on the occasion, he said that KC Public School makes constant endeavours to develop confident and successful children through an inspirational curriculum where every student is valued and assisted to cultivate attitudes and skills that contribute towards global citizenship.
The Fest commenced with an invocation to Lord Shiva with beautifully choreographed dance movements that were graceful and supple. The entire show was an extravaganza consisting of scintillating dances, group singing, March Past, PT and display of Yoga, Taekwondo and Skating. The show was anchored by students with great confidence. Each item was well received with repeated loud rounds of applause.
Addressing the audience, the chief guest spoke at length about how extra-curricular activities are an imperative part of education. Appreciating the vibrant synergy, physical coordination, agility and vitality which the children displayed, she congratulated the School Management, Principal, Headmistress, staff and students for presenting a spectacular show. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
